Coverage Options
Understanding your coverage options helps you build a policy that protects what matters — without paying for what you don't need.
Multi-Car Policy Structure
Two or more vehicles on one policy, each with its own coverage level. The multi-car discount applies to the whole policy when vehicles share the same garaging address and policy effective date.
Liability Insurance
Every vehicle on a multi-car policy must carry at least your state's minimum liability limits. Bodily-injury minimums range from $15,000 to $50,000 per person across states; property-damage minimums range from $5,000 to $50,000.
Full Coverage Car Insurance
Liability plus collision and comprehensive on one or more vehicles in your multi-car policy. You can put full coverage on a financed car and liability only on a paid-off car under the same policy.
Uninsured Motorist Coverage
Pays for injuries and vehicle damage when an at-fault driver has no insurance or insufficient coverage. Required in 22 states; optional in others. Applies per vehicle on a multi-car policy.
